Thrifty is an understatement
Bargain hunting runs in the family. From finding food in the forest to digging through racks at the Sally Anne, the aptly monikered "Hunt" family is endlessly making something out of someone else's nothing. I inherited the penchant for finding the diamonds in the rough.
For most of my life, I thought my thrift level was normal, but I think we've crossed into an entirely new realm.
Today, around 75% of everything I own had a life before me, from my wardrobe to our antique furniture to home decor and kitchen supplies to kiddo gear, it's all about reuse, repurpose, and recycle. I've indoctrinated the hubs and we purchased a fixer upper and are hell bent on furnishing it with new-to-us treasures.
And, not because we have to, but because scoring a find is half of the fun.
